Lifetime Alaskans Ron and Valda McMahan founded American Tire in 1974. Since that point two sons and two daughters have joined the business to help it grow from one small warehouse facility in Anchorage to five stores in Alaska. We are one of Alaska's largest independently owned and family operated tire, wheel, and automotive service businesses.

We are proud to deliver quality products and services in a professional, certified, trained manner. We incorporate value, know-how, and the Alaskan spirit in everything we do.
